ORLOFF/WILLIAMS STRENGTHENS FULL-SERVICE CAPABILITIES WITH ADDITION OF TWO NEW PRINCIPALS
Bohrer, Wimberly join management team, name changed to Orloff Williams Partners

Orloff/Williams & Company announces a strategic restructuring that brings two new principals to the 19-year old downtown marketing firm. Longtime creative director and strategic collaborator Mike Bohrer becomes a principal in the corporation. Jack Wimberly of Transparency, also joins the team as a principal in the agency, which will now be called Orloff Williams Partners.

Bohrer will serve as Creative Director and Branding Principal, while Wimberly steps in as Media and Technology Principal. Agency founders Dan Orloff and Nanci Williams will continue in their respective roles: Orloff as President and Director of Client Services, and Williams as CEO and Principal Strategist.

"The addition of Mike and Jack to the management team allows us to offer more services and expand in-house capabilities," says Williams. "Jack's knowledge of emerging media combined with Mike's extensive background in positioning and branding completes the brain trust that will allow us to perform more like a partner to our clients."

Wimberly, 30, formed Transparency in 2008, merging his commercial photography/video and high-profile real estate marketing firms. Transparency has broad-based experience working in marketing and corporate communications, including work for Cisco Systems, Hensel Phelps Construction Co., the San Jose Redevelopment Agency, the California Energy Commission and The Valley Foundation. An active member in the community, Wimberly serves as an officer on the San Jose Silicon Valley Chamber of Commerce's Board of Directors, and was instrumental in the conception, development and growth of the Chamber's new group, Today's Young Professionals. He is a board member at the Guadalupe River Park Conservancy and is a member of the Rotary Club of San Jose.

Mike Bohrer, 46, joined Orloff/Williams as creative director in 2005. He has strengthened the agency's branding portfolio by creating and augmenting brands such as San Jose Rep, Applied Materials, The Silicon Valley Turkey Trot, Hopkins & Carley, MacCorkle Insurance and GreenWaste Recovery. Mike's experience includes working for firms such as MarchFirst and CKS Partners, where he has launched numerous national brands including eBay.

Orloff Williams Partners is one of the few truly full-service marketing firms in Silicon Valley, which has allowed the agency to survive and prosper in an industry hard-hit by the latest economic downturn.

"This new collaboration establishes Orloff Williams Partners at the forefront of our industry in Silicon Valley," Wimberly explains. "While other agencies have hunkered down and isolated within PR, advertising or branding silos, we're looking at the new norm of client needs and providing the comprehensive expertise needed to engage audiences in today's market."

Orloff Williams Partners will maintain their offices on the ground floor of 75 East Santa Clara Street in downtown San Jose. For additional information, go to orloffwilliams.com.
